The Baylor Golf Camp is designed to help develop junior golfers of all abilities and skill levels by offering basic and advanced instruction. Through sound instruction, competition, and a fun atmosphere, campers will learn the necessary tools to excel at the game of golf for a lifetime.
Baylor’s Golf Camp will be hosted at the new campus facility. Baylor’s Billy W. Williams practice facility includes a 6,000 sq. ft. chipping green and two putting greens, 3000 sq. ft each. Campers will be able to practice on both the Mini Verde and Bent grass putting greens. The practice facility also includes 4 tee areas and 5 target greens. Campers will also get to utilize our new clubhouse with hitting bays equipped with V1 and Trackman technology as well as our brand new SAM putting lab. The facility is located on 19.5 acres on University Parks Drive adjacent to the Willis Equestrian Center less than a mile from the Ferrell Center.
The facility, was designed by golf course architect Chet Williams. Williams has worked with Jack Nicklaus on several projects and designed the No. 1 course in Texas, Whispering Pines, that has hosts the Big 12 Championships and the Spirit International. Instructors for the Baylor Golf Camp consist of the Baylor Coaching staff, other college coaches and current and former Baylor players, all under the direction of Mike McGraw.
